Patients with Dengue Fever and Dengue Hemnorrhagic Fever admitted at Baguio General Hospital and Medical Center were referred to the Dept. of Opthalmology for funduscopy from August 2010 to September 2011. There were a total of 22 patients in the study. Patients with known systemic disease such as Hypertension, and Non Dengue Related Disorder and diabetes Mellitus were excluded in the study. Fisher's and Chi Square test analysis were used to establish the significance of risk factors. Among these 22 patients referred , 22.72% had abnormal fundus findings. Five patients (10 eyes) had not blot hemorrhages. Seventy seven and twenty seven precent (17 patients, 34 eyes) had normal fundus characteristics. Among the patients with dot blot hemorrhages, majority fell under Grade II DHF. Do blot hemorrahages were seen particularly Grade II DHF and the result was significant . However, among the total number of patients regardless of the grading severity of Dengue, Dengue Retinopathy was not significant. There was a male prevalence of Dengue Retinopathy in BGHMC, but gender showed non significant results
